Government Subsidy programs – Commercial & Industrial component

A federal tax credit of 30% on new commercial renewable energy projects.
This announcement by Chrystia Freeland – Deputy Prime Minister of Canada and Minister of Finance – is very good news for the solar energy sector. This energy component includes solar systems as well as energy storage equipment.
The application of this tax program is scheduled to begin on April 1, 2023, and will be regressive from 2032 until 2035.
