DESCRIPTION

Supply of solar panels, batteries and other electrical components to equip 300 SEPAQ lodges.

THE CHALLENGE

Delivery of over 10,000 parts required for these 300 lodges located in some of Québec’s most remote and hard-to-reach areas posed a formidable logistics challenge. Rematek Energy had to set up a rigorous system to ensure that the material was delivered on time, but also a steady (and cost-effective) supply of equipment. This project mobilized a 3-person team for more than 3 months.

RESULT

Systems installed to date have allowed SEPAQ to improve comfort of its rental units as well as substantially reduced its dependence on diesel, propane or other fuel-powered electricity generators.
